I have added Gravatars to my site and made a few changes to the way comments are displayed and used. You may now use Gravatars in your comments and reply directly to specific comments, rather than only to the initial posting.

A Gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is an avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites.

Gravatars are the most commonly used avatar system in WordPress and it is recommended that WordPRess developers include Gravatars in their themes. For complete information on adding Gravatars to your blog site visit the WordPress Codex on go directly to the Gravatar Implementation Guide.

Adding Gravatars to an existing WordPress site is very simple and can also be managed through a variety of plugins available in the Wordpress Plugins Directory.
