How Much is Your Website Worth?

Ever wonder how much your website would be worth on the open market? Aside from actually running an auction to see what the market is willing to pay, there is little way of accurately assessing a site’s value. There are few, if any, reliable blanket estimates for a site’s value based on page views. This is due to variances between industry, source of the traffic, design quality, links, etc.

However, I just came across a new website, Cubestat, that aims at answering the question of a website’s value - and they are offering the service for free. Of course it is not a perfect solution but it does provide some interesting results.

I did a quick search for Google and here’s what I got:

Website Worth: $1,204,500,000.00
Daily Pageviews: 550,000,000
Daily Ads Revenue: $1,650,000.00

Website worth $1,204,500,000.00 - not bad! I also ran a few of my own sites and a couple sites in which I know the recent sale price, and I found the estimates to be rather impressive.

Their unique algorithm is based on numerous free internet sources including age, indexed pages, backlinks, rank and popularity.
