Write a Release
ads, PR, salesA press release is not an advertisement and should not overtly attempt to sell your product or service. Instead they give the media what they want, a story. A press release should provide: the Who, What, When, Where and How that uses your products or services in a story format. Try to include some emotions or personal interest slants if possible. Think to yourself: Is this something that others may want to read about?

I love your tips and have gotten great feedback from my own readers on them as well (they’re embedded as a “gadget” on my blog). But when’s the next tip of the day coming out?

I am so glad to hear your feedback on the tips! I am currently on a little ski vacation for the holidays so I have not had a chance to update the site for a few days. I will be back on schedule within a few days.

I too have enjoyed having your feed on my blog. I do have a slight problem: part of the tip of the day is cut off, and so the user needs to scroll both up and down and sideways to read the entire tip…kinda irritating to navigate to read a paragraph. Any hints on how to avoid this? My blog template does not allow me to change sizes of the tools I use, e.g. your Tip of the Day feed.

Sorry you are having trouble with tip gadget. I will take a look at the gadget on your site and see if I can make a few tweaks to better fit in people’s sidebars. Thanks!
