You’re going to be surprised how easy it boils down to having your company website meet the needs of the people who come there but the key is to see your website like a visitor. One thing that business owners sometimes lose sight of is the user’s perspective for their website. We want the site to say and do certain things in a specific amount of time and that’s often the focus but the bottom line is that the visitors are the reason for the website in the first place.

Start with user friendly aspects. Can a visitor find their way to the search box and do the search results point them in the right direction? How well a person can navigate your website determines whether or not they will patronize your business. Make it user friendly at every level.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is as simple as either they find your website in the top ratings or they click on the competition that’s higher ranked. Optimizing your website means making sure tags, links and images are all up to date and working.

Last but not least, create content that is fresh, clear to understand and complete. The end results of these efforts will produce a website visitors want to come to.
