Have you been looking for some guidance on how to create an autoresponder email campaign but find it frustrating with so many misnomers and websites that hint at how to set up your campaign but don’t actually give the information you need? If so, your search is over because we’ve put together some basic steps that will help you to set up an autoresponder email campaign in no time at all.

Let’s get started!

Step 1

Plan to send an adequate number of emails. One of the major shortcomings of many email campaigns is that they don’t achieve the goals of the campaign because they send too few messages. A proper campaign should have at least seven or eight emails in the campaign.

Step 2

Don’t pitch anything at your reader in the first email. This is important because it is the easiest way to lose the reader’s interest if they detect a sales pitch. Offer a link to the incentive you promised for joining your list.

Step 3

Take the time to construct information in a presenting matter that makes your reader want to click the link to your website. Repeat this process with one or two more emails, making sure that content is fresh, concise, non-sales type content that invites the reader to visit your website to learn more.

Step 4

By the fifth email, have a free gift to give the reader. Make sure that the gift has no strings attached and is not a free trial. There’s nothing worse than promises something for free but delivering something with conditions instead. It’s certain death to your campaign as well.

Step 5

Follow up with another article that has a link to your site and is sales pitch free. These informational articles are a great way to build the reader’s interest and to give out verifiable information that boosts the value of your website and the goods or services that you offer.

Step 6

Your final step in this campaign is to formulate several emails that give direct recommendations that are concise, to the point, and encourage the reader to get in touch with you.

Summary

If you followed these steps accordingly, congratulations! Moving to an anutoresponder is a big step toward putting your marketing efforts on autopilot. Let readers know how autoresponders have helped your business in the comments below.
